Gran sardo Kg. 2/2,2

The GRANSARDO was born in the province of Sassari at the end of the ‘90s. It is a highly innovating cheese which, during the last three years, has conquered the favours of the Italian gourmets, and not only. The GRANSARDO cheese features a compact and smooth crust, going from a medium straw to a dark straw colour. According to the seasoning (between at least 20/30 and 40/50 months), the GRANSARDO is a table cheese also good for being grated. The paste features a straw white colour which becomes more intense during the time. The maturing is accompanied by a pleasant and characteristic granulosity which wonderfully combines with the soft, sumptuous impact due to the milk used. Its taste astonishes for its rare sweetness and extremely peculiar aroma.
